Future Ads has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Flash Designer/Developer to work in our Interactive Gaming division. We are looking for a candidate who can help assess and define both the creative and technical aspects of projects, and execute high-concept programs. Must be a team player and able to work with other multimedia developers, technologists, project managers and designers to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities include:

• Conceptualize and develop Flash-based games, projects and campaigns
• Assist in the development and implementation of creative test plans and design optimizations
• Contribute to the innovative development of Flash use and implementation
• Maintain familiarity with industry trends and anticipate/recommend design shifts to improve our service offerings. Help train and grow Flash designers
• Track competitive work and recommend new design/development strategies to ensure market leadership

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 5+ years experience with Flash
• Expert working knowledge of Macromedia Flash, Actionscript 2 & 3, and OO based programming, Photoshop, Illustrator and other standard software tools
• XML data integration, (working knowledge of ASP.NET, Flash Remoting, web services and other server-side technologies is a plus)
• Excellent understanding of best practices in digital advertising development, (i.e. file size limitations, banner standards, measurement metrics and related technologies), digital marketing and messaging for this medium, digital design skills, and knowledge of audio and flash resources
• Well-developed communication and organizational skills
• Proven leadership skills with experience in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
• Ability to encourage creative expression while continuing to keep an eye on commercial reality
• Passion for design and possessing creative problem solving
• Desire and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, client-services driven environment while working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Interactive and Ad agency experience a plus
